Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas, where she studied physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging from local independent films to international commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love in the field of acting, despite tiny parts. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding Performances on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. She was cast as Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister Cory is 10 years older than her. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano's career began at age seven, after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants, she was chosen among only four. Milano appeared in advertisements both on Broadway and television, including the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
