Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas, where she studied physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging from local independent films to international commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love in the field of acting, despite tiny parts. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain.
